Thrills Adventures
take you to the best locations producing more fish and more excitement than anywhere on the planet! This the best aerial bowfishing you’ll ever experience. We’ve spent over a decade mapping the Illinois River and logging data to reliably access the biggest and thickest schools of Flying Kamikaze Carp, aka Asian Silver Carp. We’ve got the equipment, know how and experience to deliver a breathtaking adventure that you’ll never forget.
Make no mistake though, a Thrills Adventure is All About Bowfishing. You’ll have close access to the conveniently located Henry Harbor Inn to sleep and shower, and right next door The Landings at Henry Harbor to get a bite to eat and beverages to wind down after a long day on the water. Henry IL offers a few more restaurants within walking distance but not much else.
Chilled…
Our Chilled full day adventure also runs from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM but costs $750. We launch from Starved Rock State Park in Utica, IL. The atmosphere is more relaxed and we can even take a break to troll up the Vermillion River and shoot some rolling gar. Extended hours – $125 / hour.
Our Chilled partial day adventure runs from 10:00 AM – Noon or 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and costs $400. Extended hours – $125 / hour.
Chilled Adventures
are a little less intense and more laid back. You’ll still have plenty of opportunities to shoot flying fish, but a bit more breathing room. Launching from Starved Rock State Park gives you convenient access to one of the most beautiful locations in Illinois. Spend one day shooting fish and another exploring this natural wonder. You’ll also be right next door to family friendly fun at Grand Bear Resort and Waterpark.
Starved Rock Lodge offers the most convenient and beautiful accommodations and Matthiessen State Park is minutes away for more hiking and relaxing.
All bookings require a 50% deposit to reserve your spot. While most reservations are scheduled for weekends, we will be happy to make accommodations for weekdays but need as much notice as possible. Weekday bookings require AT LEAST 2 full weeks notice. Weekday trips are also usually more productive as there are not as many pleasure boaters on the water.
While we operate “Rain or Shine”, dangerous or severe weather conditions will require a rescheduled date, time, or early conclusion. Safety is a priority.
If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call or send an email.
